CARDIFF MEETING

SHAKING ON IT
That's me and Sean Edwards in G39 Gallery in Cardiff.
This October I'm in a group show with Melanie Counsell and George Henry Longly, curated by Sean Edwards.
Sean and G39 have invited us to have a Meeting there on SATURDAY 21ST OCTOBER 2006 at 2PM.
It's a tall, thin building on three levels, three rooms. There's an image on their website - www.g39.org
I'II be making a shaped table top for the occasion, in wood.. all proper like.
The private view is on the Friday eve before, which of course you're all invited to, if you can.
The Meeting will only be advertised by a poster at the door on the opening night, for those public interested.
There will also be a late breakfast for us on the Saturday before the Meeting.
It's a new space, in a new place.. It's still a meeting, it's still an hour to do with what we want.
Hope you can all come.. it's a day out in Cardiff no less.
I've posted transport details out to you, but must stress to book early - mid Sept, to get cheap tickets.
£22 return by train.

Re SSPSC
.. realise that my posting isn't that helpful, too vague.. and to give people a chance to check the blog thought I'd suggest meeting up next sunday 23rd at 3pm outside sepentine gallery - there's a proper cafeteria in hyde park we could go to.. or maybe do it in a boat. Again, I'm just suggesting we meet up - talk about the meetings.. see what people are up to.. what people want to do. Hopefully see yous there - bring some bread for the ducks.. and patrick.

SSPSC
.. I thought it might be nice to have a more 'social' meeting, sometime at the end of this week or the next.. seen 'en as peoples have been away and have stories to tell to all the other kids. Maybe a seasonal sunday park social club SSPSC. ? it's got a certain ring to it..! some beers in a park could be an other option SBP. What you think?.. this sunday, say somewhere solobrieous like regents park.. or maybe better serpentine.? sarah mac

Who we would like to participate – Rehearsed Meeting Extra
What we would like you to provide - A point for, and a point against Public Funding of Art:
It doesn’t matter how simple or complicated / two lines
or a hundred lines Most important, is that you keep it
real - we are taking this very seriously and would hope
that anyone wishing to contribute will do the same as
we are genuinely interested in your thoughts on the
subject
Why are we asking for a debate - Through our initial enquiries we feel now would be
A good time to have an Introductory debate We have
lots of unanswered questions which probably will still
remain unanswered but would benefit from being considered
and opened up through a broader debate We feel the regular
meeting will be a good forum to do this
Where - London Fields (an outside venue)
When - either Wednesday the 7th or Wednesday 14th of June 06
We will be making some information packs of relevant text and any other related stuff that we will hand out at next weeks meeting

This is an official apology to mr Graham Hayward who kindly made, packed and sent a parcel to be opened at Friays meeting at Chelsea Space. The parcel arrived in London on Tuedsday from Oslo Norway where Graham resides and was taken over to the Chelsea Space on Thursday the 27th of April. Unfortunately in all the confusion the parcel was not opened during the meeting. So apart from apologising to mr Graham Hayward for this oversight we were also looking for suggestions from mr Hayward and others where and when would be the best time and place to open the parcel.
